Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Chiropractic Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth clinic operations while delivering exceptional patient service. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will support the delivery of high-quality chiropractic care, making a positive impact on patients' health journeys. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage all front desk activities with professionalism and efficiency Schedule appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance authorization and benefits verification, including Medicare and ICD coding requirements Handle medical billing and collections accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and CPT coding standards Maintain accurate medical records, review documentation for completeness, and update patient files Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear communication and appointment confirmations Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information and updating health histories in chiropractic office management software Experience Prior clinic experience in a medical or dental office environment is highly preferred, especially in front desk or administrative roles Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and medical billing practices Experience working with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Familiarity with insurance verification processes and Medicare guidelines Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), typing (10-key), and data entry accuracy Excellent customer service skills combined with clerical experience in office management or medical office support Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to improving patient health through compassionate care and efficient administrative support.
