JOB SUMMARY
The Physician Assistant delivers orthopedic medical care to a wide variety of patients in our Physician Group. This position will be responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records and administering follow-up appointments to patients as required. The successful candidate will work as a team with the physician and the medical staff to deliver premium care to each and every patient. Experience treating various orthopedic cases is highly desired.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 2
years of experience in a Physician Assistant Role Experience working with orthopedic patients in a clinical setting desired Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Graduate of an accredited or PA Program. Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Eligible for hospital privileges if required
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Functions independently performing initial and existing patient exams and screening evaluations Assesses patient health by obtaining and reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations and evaluations Determines appropriate diagnostic tests, as well as prescribing and interpreting such tests Document patient care services by dictating notes and charting diagnoses and fees in patient records Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Consult and coordinate with the practice physicians to delivery timely, efficient, and professional care to the patients Utilize our EMR system to input patient data to ensure accuracy of patient information, records, and billing

Clinical duties; assist with seeing patients 5 days a week
