Orthopedic Surgery Physician Needed Arizona Locum Tenens August 2026 Start WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Physician for locum tenens call coverage beginning in August 2026. This opportunity supports adult orthopedic services and offers ongoing weekend call coverage with a low-volume call burden and expedited credentialing process. Assignment Highlights

Approximately 3 Weeks This assignment is ideal for an orthopedic surgeon seeking supplemental call coverage with a manageable patient volume. Providers will cover orthopedic consults, admissions, and surgical cases as needed while supporting adult patients only.Current coverage needs include:
- August 7, 2026 at 7:00 AM August 10, 2026 at 7:00 AM
- September 28, 2026 at 7:00 AM October 1, 2026 at 7:00 AM Clinical responsibilities include evaluating new orthopedic consults, managing inpatient orthopedic needs, and performing surgical interventions when necessary.
- BC/BE Orthopedic Surgery
- BLS Certification Required
- Active Arizona License or IMLC/Letter of Qualification (LOQ) accepted
- Experience managing adult orthopedic patients Practice Environment
- Adult patient population only
- Average of 2 surgical cases per day
- Average of 6 new consults per day
- Minimal overnight call burden
