Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Primary Care PJM Clinic - Glendale, AZ Full-time (part-time considered) | In person About PJM Clinic PJM Clinic is a new, physician-led primary care practice serving adults and families in the West Valley. We are building a patient-centered clinic from the ground up, with a small, collaborative team and an emphasis on continuity of care, preventive medicine, and strong relationships with our patients and the community. Our clinical services include primary care, preventive care and physicals, chronic disease management, lab and imaging coordination, pain management, rehabilitation, and behavioral health referrals. Our Medical Director is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine and experience leading adult medicine programs. Physician Assistants at PJM Clinic practice in collaboration with the Medical Director and have direct access to physician guidance on complex cases. Position Summary We are seeking a certified Physician Assistant to serve as a primary care provider at our Glendale clinic. You will manage your own panel of adult and geriatric patients, providing comprehensive primary care from prevention through chronic disease management. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape clinic workflows, patient experience, and the culture of a growing practice. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to adult and geriatric patients, including annual physicals, wellness visits, acute visits, and follow-up care Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, COPD, asthma, thyroid disorders, and common infections Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic testing Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with Arizona law and clinic protocols Perform minor in-office procedures within your scope of practice and training Coordinate referrals to specialists, behavioral health, rehabilitation, and community resources Document accurately and completely in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner, meeting coding and compliance standards Collaborate with the Medical Director on complex cases and participate in case review Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and self-management Support quality improvement initiatives, care gap closure, and value-based care measures Participate in community outreach, including partnerships with local senior living facilities Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and all applicable state and federal regulations Required Qualifications Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program Current, unrestricted Arizona Physician Assistant license NCCPA certification (PA-C) Active DEA registration or ability to obtain upon hire Current BLS certification Ability to pass a background check and meet insurance credentialing requirements (Medicare, AHCCCS, and commercial payers) Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and comfort working independently within a collaborative team Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of outpatient primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or geriatrics experience Experience with geriatric patient populations and chronic disease management Experience with EHR documentation and outpatient E/M coding Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus New graduate PAs with strong primary care clinical rotations are encouraged to apply What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Health, dental, and vision benefits for full-time employees Flexible scheduling with no nights or weekends required Direct collaboration with a board-certified, fellowship-trained Medical Director Small, supportive team with the opportunity to help build a new practice and grow into leadership as PJM Clinic expands to additional locations CME support and reimbursement for license and certification renewal Schedule Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
