Monday

• Thursday, 9:30am
• 3:30pm; additional hours based on performance, flexibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• CA licensed NP or PA
• Active boards

FNP-C/FNP-BC

• Active DEA
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Has valid current CA DL, and valid auto insurance
• Lives locally/able to drive to different locations as noted above re: work location(s)

Preferred:

experience with orthopedics, spine surgery patients, working in underserved communities with little resources at hand

Responsibilities:

• Perform medical evaluations and formulate differential dx(s), Tx plan(s) for general orthopedic, spine patients within the scope of standard of care.
• Medical procedures include: suture, staple removal; basic suturing and retracting in the OR.
• Triage incoming patients needs.
• Perform Telemedicine consults as appropriate.
• Perform pre-operative Hxs and Physicals.
• Work closely with orthopedic, ortho spine physician(s).
• Document clinical evaluation and treatment in the EMR—Practice Fusion.
• Make patients and family members comfortable (speaking in their Spanish language as indicated), professionally answering any questions AND using patient
• centered empathetic communications at all times.
• Translate Spanish to English in the examination room for the medical provider(s). What is offered at this practice:

• Understanding of family child care needs, emergencies.
• Taking care of patients who are most in need, including but not limited to, at times uninsured, versus Underinsured.

• Physician(s) needing assistance are military veteran(s) with insight into medical, surgical practice which crosses the borders outside the U.
