Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient conditions related to musculoskeletal injuries and disorders Assist orthopedic surgeons during surgical procedures, including pre-operative preparation and post-operative care Manage acute pain through injections, medication administration, and non-pharmacologic interventions such as Botulinum toxin treatments Perform suturing, wound care, and aseptic techniques to ensure optimal healing outcomes Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic and Cerner for accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical records, and data collection Collaborate with healthcare professionals across hospital medicine, emergency medicine, trauma centers, and outpatient clinics to coordinate patient care Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and post-treatment care plans while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Experience Prior hospital experience in emergency room settings or Level I/II trauma centers demonstrating proficiency in triage, critical care, and acute pain management Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for medical records management and data entry Hands-on clinical research experience or participation in clinical trials related to orthopedic or musculoskeletal conditions Skilled in diagnostic evaluation including interpretation of diagnostic tests like radiographs, MRI scans, and laboratory results Knowledge of CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) coding, ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding including

ICD-10/ICD-9
