Company Overview Institutes of Health (IOH) is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our outpatient clinic in Burbank, CA. This role is designed for an experienced advance practice provider comfortable managing complex outpatient patients in a collaborative, team-based environment. This position is not appropriate for new graduates or providers requiring structured training. The Role As a PA with IOH, you will provide outpatient healthcare focused on: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) Mood and anxiety disorders Musculoskeletal injuries Chronic pain and functional impairment-related conditions Trauma-related and co-occurring conditions You will collaborate with neurology, PM&R, psychology, pain management, and rehabilitation services to deliver a biopsychosocial, team based approach to care. What You'll Do Independently conduct outpatient evaluations and follow-up visits Diagnose and manage conditions related to injury, trauma, and functional impairment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management when appropriate Perform risk assessments and clinical decision-making Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers (neurology, PM&R, Psychology, Pain Management) Monitor patient progress and adjust care to support functional recovery and outcomes Ideal Candidate This role is ideal for an experienced PA who: Has strong outpatient clinical experience with neurology, PM&R, or complex rehabilitation populations Has experience in worker's compensation or injury-related care (preferred) Enjoys a collaborative, multidisciplinary care model Thrives in a biopsychosocial approach to patient care Is focused on patient outcomes and long term functional recovery Is seeking a balanced outpatient role with lower stress compared to high-volume practice Qualifications Minimum 1-3 years of PA clinical experience in an outpatient or complex care setting Active and unrestricted California PA license (required) DEA certification (Required) Strong clinical decision-making and ability to practice independently Experience working in workers' compensation, pain management, TBI, or rehabilitation-informed care preferred Training will be provided in IOH-specific treatment protocols for chronic pain, PTSD, and brain injury populations Why IOH?
