Our fast-paced urgent care practice in Fremont, CA is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) for per diem coverage in August. This flexible role offers competitive hourly pay and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts while maintaining clinical autonomy, without a long-term commitment.

August 6, August 17, and August 31: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM Competitive hourly pay: $95-100/hour (DOE), plus overtime potential Malpractice coverage provided Flexible per diem coverage — pick up shifts based on availability EMR training available prior to first shift Opportunity to supplement your schedule without a long-term commitment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive urgent care services in an outpatient setting Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of acute, non-emergent conditions Perform patient histories, physical exams, and clinical assessments Develop appropriate treatment plans and provide follow-up recommendations Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care Collaborate with the clinical team to support quality patient outcomes
Qualifications:
Active California Physician Assistant (PA) license required Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; EMR experience preferred
