A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Title:
Physician Assistant (PA) Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant with a strong background in adult medicine and/or geriatric to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing complex chronic conditions, providing comprehensive care to adult and elderly populations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary team to deliver-high quality, patient centered care.
Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate should possess a diverse skill set including but not limited to: Proficiency in EHR systems for efficient patient management. Familiarity with coding systems (CPT & ICD) for accurate billing practices. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance in all aspects of patient care. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the health of individuals within the community while working in a supportive environment that values professional growth. Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in adult medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatrics (preferred) Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to diagnose and treat medical conditions. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences. Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans. Provide preventive care, including immunizations and health coaching. Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. Collaborate with specialists in areas such as cardiology, endocrinology, and gastroenterology for comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
