Women's Health PA (Primary Care, Outpatient) Northeast Community Clinic (NECC), a major Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with multi-specialty outpatient clinics located throughout Los Angeles County is seeking dedicated and mission-oriented Physician Assistants in Women's Health. PM Position Summary:

We provide critically needed primary care to the underserved and uninsured populations throughout the Los Angeles area. We have a multidisciplinary team consisting of Family Medicine Physicians, Pediatricians, Internist, Endocrinologist, Dentists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers dedicated to the treatment of our primary care patients. We see 180,000 visits a year for 48,000 patients.

Minimum Requirements:

Bilingual English/Spanish

• Able to conduct the full assessment without an interpreter One (1) year of work experience as a certified NP

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Must have a Nat'l Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain an NPI, prior to employment start date.
• Have approved credentials with Health Plans
• Active CA license and certification as Physician Assistant
• Active DEA License
• Commitment to goals and philosophy of Northeast Community Clinic
• Current CPR and/or BLS Certification
• Valid State Identification Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
• OSHA Category 1
• Involves exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
• The work is majority of the time non-sedentary in nature.
• The employee is regularly required to communicate, frequently required to use repetitive motions, move, remain stationary, regularly push, pull and lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must possess mobility to work in a standard office/clinic setting (in some cases both settings) and to use standard office/clinic equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, read printed materials and use a computer, and communicate in person and over the telephone.
