Physician Assistant Compensation:
$131,000 - $170,000 annually (based on experience)Job Type:
Full-time, Mondays to Fridays 8-5 PM or 4 day (10 hour shift available).Location:
Greater Sacramento area, CA (Multiple locations available) We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide comprehensive primary care services within a community health center setting. This role offers the opportunity to serve diverse and underserved populations while working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care Qualifications Active California Physician Assistant license NCCPA board certification Current DEA certification Current BLS certification 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, particularly in community health or underserved populations Strong commitment to serving low-income, homeless, or medically underserved communities Bilingual skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish strongly preferred Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (multiple PPO plan options available) 403(b) retirement plan with up to 4% employer match and immediate vesting Up to 4 weeks of PTO in first year (based on hours worked) 7 paid holidays + 1 floating holiday Employer-paid life insurance and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Flexible Spending Accounts (Health & Dependent Care) Malpractice and tail coverage provided at no cost Annual CME reimbursement (including licensing/certifications) plus up to 1 week of paid CME time Tuition reimbursementBenefits
