Position Summary:

The Physician Assistant (PA) provides high-quality, compassionate medical care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. This role involves performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, assisting in surgical procedures, and providing patient education. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, professionalism, and a strong commitment to quality care and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain detailed medical histories. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with the supervising physician. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging studies. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with state laws and practice guidelines. Assist in surgical procedures, wound care, and other clinical interventions as required. Provide patient education and counseling regarding disease prevention, treatment options, and wellness. Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed electronic medical records (EMR). Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care. Adhere to clinical protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with every patient interaction, ensuring all patients feel respected, heard, and cared for. Maintain a strong focus on quality and service , contributing to a positive patient experience and organizational reputation.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current Physician Assistant licensure in [State]. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date). Minimum 1 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates considered).
