Exceptional Opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work Full Time at the South Park Health Center in Fairplay, CO. We are seeking a highly qualified PA or NP who is committed to comprehensive patient care in a well-established Primary Care Practice. South Park Health Care is a Family Practice clinic located in Fairplay, CO. We are seeking either a Full -time Nurse Practitioner or a Physicians Assistant, to serve this rural community. We offer a unique opportunity for the to work independently and grow in this existing Primary Care Practice. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and maintains flexibility in their work and has a passion for rural healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, work well with others, be self-motivated and need little direction from supervisors. This position serves a wide range of patients with varying diagnosis that includes both adults and pediatric sick and well care. The NP or PA will be responsible for meeting, assessing, and diagnosing patients in our clinic. The NP or PA assumes responsibility and accountability for health promotion and maintenance, including but not limited to the use and prescription of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions. They will be responsible for prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues and promote a healthier life. Additional Key Responsibilities Full-time, outpatient primary care Practice independently with strong physician support available Broad scope across the lifespan (pediatrics to geriatrics) Opportunities to manage chronic conditions, same-day needs and preventative care Supportive clinic teams with Medical Assistants (MAs) and operational leadership in place What we are looking for: Minimum one year related experience in Clinic Setting. Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant Minimum of 2+ years of primary care experience required Comfortable practicing in a rural setting with a wide scope Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary of $92,300 - $134,000 based on experience Full benefits package, including health, dental and vision Retirement plan with employer contribution Paid time off and CME allowance Medical license, and trade association allowances provided.
