Busy orthopedic joint practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled NP or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our dynamic team in. It's a full-time position and an exciting opportunity to work closely with our expert orthopedic surgeons in a collaborative environment committed to delivering exceptional patient care. The role involves a mix of clinical, surgical, and administrative responsibilities, offering a varied and rewarding career path. Our multi-specialty private practice specializes in total joint replacement, trauma and spinal surgery and is dedicated to providing compassionate, cutting-edge treatment to our community. We pride ourselves on a culture that values innovation, teamwork, and professional development. We have multiple locations for patients convenience so this job would require light traveling between clinics and hospitals, mostly between Colorado Springs and Lone Tree.

Key responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations. Order, interpret, and correlate diagnostic studies, including X-rays, MRIs, and lab work. Formulate and implement treatment plans for a variety of orthopedic conditions. First assist in the operating room for surgical procedures, including Joint replacement, fracture repair, and soft tissue procedures. Manage and coordinate inpatient and outpatient care, including daily rounds and discharge summaries. Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, post-operative care, and injury prevention. Provide first-level response to acute patient complications and emergencies. Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in our EMR system Qualifications Current PA-C certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Colorado. Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

BLS/ACLS

certification. 1-3 years of experience as a PA in an orthopedic setting is preferred, but motivated new graduates with relevant clinical rotations will be considered. Salary Range:

$105,000-130,000, based on experience, plus production bonuses.
