Provide world-class therapy to patients with rare, debilitating disorders under the directorship of a world-renowned expert in the field of vascular anomalies, including hemangiomas and vascular malformations. The PA will play a crucial role in the evaluation, diagnosis, workup, surgical/interventional care, and follow-up care. Responsibilities Full-time permanent position - Vascular Surgery Monday-Friday schedule Perform comprehensive history and physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and diagnose/manage patients with vascular disease and anomalies. First assist in both hospital and Office-Based Lab (OBL) surgeries and interventions. Provide optimal care from check-in to discharge, including prescribing, dispensing, and administering medications. Perform hospital rounding and provide occasional after-hour call coverage Provide compassionate support and education to families regarding complex diagnoses. Qualifications Physician Assistant license in the state of Connecticut (or able to obtain). Prior experience as a PA in a vascular setting is preferred, however the group is willing to train an eager new graduate with specific interest in vascular medicine.
