Spine | Neurosurgery Physician Assistant

Job Description

Spine Physician Assistant needed for a full-time role with an Greater Hartford Area Orthopedic group. 2-3 Years of Inpatient | Outpatient - Spine / Neurosurgical / Ortho experience required. The Physician Assistant will provide a mix of surgical First Assist, Inpatient Rounding, and Outpatient Clinic services for Back/Spine/Neck patients. Hiring as of 8/4/2026. Responsibilities:
Provide First Assist Spine support 1 Spine Surgeon at 1 Hartford area hospital. Work on the following Spine cases: compression fractures, spinal injuries, herniated discs, lumbar / cervical radiculopathy, other degenerative spinal, back, and neck conditions. Provide rounding floor coverage for post-operative patients. Provide outpatient initial consults and follow ups. Approximately 50/50 split between inpatient and outpatient Collaborate with other Physician Assistants, Physicians, and other clinical staff to provide optimal patient outcomes.
