Provide direct, exceptional dermatological and cosmetic care to patients Cosmetic Performs cosmetic consultations and develops individualized aesthetic treatment plans based on patient goals and expectations Provides cosmetic injectable treatments including neurotoxins (Botox , Dysport , Xeomin , Daxxify ) and dermal fillers for facial rejuvenation and contouring Assesses facial anatomy and demonstrates advanced understanding of cosmetic injection techniques and patient safety protocol Performs laser and light-based treatments including IPL, laser resurfacing, vascular lesion treatment, pigment reduction, hair removal, and skin rejuvenation procedures Provides cosmetic procedures including chemical peels, microneedling, PRP/PRF treatments, scar revision therapies, and other non-surgical aesthetic services Educates patients on cosmetic treatment options, skincare regimens, pre- and post-procedure care, expected outcomes, and maintenance plans Identifies and manages potential cosmetic treatment complications and adverse reactions appropriately and timely Works collaboratively with supervising physicians and aesthetic staff to ensure high-quality cosmetic outcomes and patient satisfaction Maintains knowledge of current cosmetic dermatology trends, products, devices, and emerging technologies through continuing education and training Promotes practice growth through cosmetic patient retention, community outreach, patient education, and development of long-term aesthetic treatment relationships Documents cosmetic consultations, procedures, patient photographs, informed consent, and follow-up care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record Assists in maintaining compliance with all safety standards and protocols related to cosmetic lasers, devices, and injectable treatments Experience with medical-grade skincare products and ability to recommend appropriate treatment regimens to support procedural outcomes preferred Ability to build rapport with cosmetic patients while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced aesthetic environment Professional Demonstrates initiative and responsibility Able to perform repetitive tasks without loss of focus Adheres to ethical principles Time Management Adapts to change Attends all team meetings and mandatory in-service training/education Communication Recognizes and respects cultural diversity Adapts communication to individual's ability to understand Uses professional, pleasant telephone etiquette Uses medical terminology appropriately Treats all patients and co-workers with compassion, empathy, and mutual respect Projects a professional manner and image Consistent attendance and punctuality Legal Maintains confidentiality and documents accurately Uses appropriate guidelines for releasing patient information Practices within the scope of education, training, and personal capabilities Conducts self in accordance with Suncoast's Employee Handbook. Maintains awareness of federal and state health care legislation and regulations; OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA Physical Demands Prolonged standing/walking Occasional travel Multitasking Repetitive head, neck, hands wrists and arm motion/rotation Extensive reading, writing, typing required Lifting to 25lbs Frequent use of office administrative, computer and medical equipment Transferring and positioning patients Qualifications and Education Requirements Possession of a bachelor's and master's degree, together with a certificate from completing an American Medical Association approved physician assistant/APRN program Experience with cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic procedures required, including injectables, lasers, body contouring, and advanced skincare treatments Possession of active Florida medical license May possess a National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) issued certificate Possession of state and federal Controlled Substance Registration Some clinical experience in an area of specialty Knowledgeable in computer programs, EMR systems, customer service, excellent verbal communication skillsBenefits
