$36.00 per hour Paid every Friday. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a busy outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation clinic in Clearwater, Florida . This is a 13-week assignment with an ASAP start date and offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable outpatient orthopedic experience while working alongside an experienced rehabilitation team. New graduates are encouraged to apply! Candidates with outpatient orthopedic experience are highly preferred but not required. Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans. Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional mobility training as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the Physical Therapist. Educate patients on home exercise programs and proper body mechanics. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Deliver exceptional patient care while fostering a positive and supportive rehabilitation environment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start date). New graduates are welcome to apply. Outpatient orthopedic experience is highly preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
