May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description:

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or APRN program Current

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and physical exams Obtain and review patient histories and medical records Order diagnostic studies such as
MRI, CT, EEG, EMG
Assist in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications Prescribe medications in accordance with state licensure Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR Participate in inpatient rounds or outpatient clinics, depending on setting Collaborate with physician
