Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant, a vital member of the medical staff dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. In this role, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive medical services. Your expertise will support diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient management in a fast-paced environment that values innovation, teamwork, and compassionate care. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, intake evaluations, and detailed medical histories. Assist in diagnostic evaluation by interpreting laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests such as radiology and ultrasound. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with HIPAA regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring proper medication administration and drug enforcement compliance. Perform procedures including suturing, injection administration (e.g., botulinum toxin treatment), phlebotomy, and aseptic techniques for infection control. Manage acute care situations such as airway management, ventilator support, critical & intensive care procedures, and triage in emergency or urgent care settings. Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties including infectious disease care, geriatrics, pediatrics, palliative medicine, and hospital medicine to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Demonstrated experience in hospital environments such as Level I or Level II trauma centers, ICU settings, or emergency rooms. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic or Cerner; experience with telehealth platforms is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding for accurate documentation and billing. Critical care experience including ventilator management, airway management techniques, and ICU procedures. Skilled in performing clinical research activities such as data collection and analysis for clinical trials or quality improvement projects. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching and treatment plans effectively. Ability to work independently while collaborating seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care across outpatient and inpatient settings. $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
