A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

At MainStreet Family Care, we're growing fast and looking for fast, fun, and friendly PRN Physician Assistants (PAs) to work across multiple clinics in your region. Our providers help patients feel better FAST! Boom! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a high-volume environment, and is flexible working with different teams and clinics. New grads are encouraged to apply — haven't taken boards yet? That's okay too!
Responsibilities:
  • Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
  • Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
  • Suturing and splinting
  • General orthopedic evaluations and management
  • X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
  • EKG interpretation
  • General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
  • Treating patients of all ages
  • Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting
Schedule:
  • Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

  • Monday
  • Friday:
    8:00 a.m.
  • 8:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday:
9:00 a.m.
  • 4:00 p.m. KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):
  • Monday
