Job Description

Job Summary Shea ENT Clinic and Physician's Hearing Clinic provide a state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders. Our #1 goal is patient care. We truly care about our patients and take our time to help with their needs. Our patients include primarily children who suffer from hearing loss, ear infections, chronic tonsillitis, tongue tie/lip tie, perforated ear drum(s), ear wax removal, obstructive sleep apnea, nose bleeds, nasal polyps, sinusitis, hoarseness, and more. We are seeking a compassionate, qualified physician assistant to join our team from Mon- Thurs 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. The ideal candidate has experience assessing and treating individuals with ENT issues. They will perform physical exams, obtain patient medical histories, order tests, plan treatments, and counsel patients. Responsibilities Promote and maintain high standards of patient care Provide high-quality medical services under the supervision of a physician Assist with short-term and long-term patient care issues Recommend treatments, medicines, and therapies Chart patient progress and maintain detailed, accurate health records Lend support to the lead physician or surgeon, collaborating with the team as needed Perform physical examinations and elicit detailed, accurate patient histories Determine patient conditions based on diagnostic imaging and test results Formulate therapeutic plans and treatments, which may include prescriptions Provide general ENT care and procedures in a practice setting Maintain professional and technical knowledge via Continuing Medical Education credits Protect patient confidentiality, maintain ethics, and abide by all applicable laws Requirements Demonstrated proficiency, physician assistant licensure Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and procedural techniques Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Analytical thinking skills with the ability to investigate and diagnose Competence with technology and ability to use various tools in the clinical setting Professionalism with excellent communication and customer service skills One or more years of background experience inotolaryngology Strong skills in mathematics Experience working independently, as a liaison, and as part of a team Active learner with a desire and willingness to continue education and training Understanding of the legal aspects of confidentiality and patient care
BLS, ACLS
certification Salary Based on Experience No contract or non-compete clause

$55.00 per hour
