In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care with compassion. Must have a solid fund of knowledge in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and management, and ensuring the highest-quality care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including medical history documentation using a state of the art electronic health record (EHR) system Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with best medical practices and DEA regulations, ensuring safe medication administration and documentation. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, incision and drainage of abcesses, and fracture/dislocation management. Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties. Collaborate with a team of experienced and helpful Physicians and other mid-level providers. Make proper diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory experience, digital x-ray imaging, EKG's and utilization of training and experience. Provide telehealth consultations and triage services to ensure timely patient access to care while adhering to HIPAA guidelines for medical documentation and client communication. Skills Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and EMR/EHR management best practices. Experience in critical care environments including ICU, trauma centers, emergency rooms, hospital medicine, and post-acute care settings. Skilled in performing procedures such as suturing and staples, fracture care, foreign body removal, and appropriate care for URI's, UTI's, DOT, Immigrarion, and Coast Guard physicals. Strong knowledge of pharmacology for medication prescribing and recognition of potential interactions. Ability to perform diagnostic assessments utilizing medical terminology, x-rays, EKG's, and rapid strepmono/flu/COVID tests as well as STD testing. Experience working with diverse populations including acute pediatric illnesses, geriatrics, individuals involved in work related injuries and motor vehicle injuries Must possess excellent client communication skills with a focus on health coaching and patient education to ensure compliance and best possible outcomes. Pay:
