Skills Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and EMR/EHR management best practices. Experience in critical care environments including ICU, trauma centers, emergency rooms, hospital medicine, and post-acute care settings. Skilled in performing procedures such as suturing and staples, fracture care, foreign body removal, and appropriate care for URI's, UTI's, DOT, Immigrarion, and Coast Guard physicals. Strong knowledge of pharmacology for medication prescribing and recognition of potential interactions. Ability to perform diagnostic assessments utilizing medical terminology, x-rays, EKG's, and rapid strepmono/flu/COVID tests as well as STD testing. Experience working with diverse populations including acute pediatric illnesses, geriatrics, individuals involved in work related injuries and motor vehicle injuries Must possess excellent client communication skills with a focus on health coaching and patient education to ensure compliance and best possible outcomes.
