A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care, committed to clinical excellence, and capable of managing a broad range of urologic conditions while promoting AdventHealth's mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Master's in Physician Assistant studies One + years' experience Provides direct care with licensing credentials under the auspices of supervising

MD. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.

NCCPA Physician Assistant Certified Pay Range:
