Responsibilities Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiac Surgery - Macon, GA Piedmont Heart Institute is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiac team in Macon, GA. This role will provide excellent patient care to our surgical patients. This is a PRN/ as needed opportunity and includes both weekday, weekend, and night call requirements. (a four-day work week with some weekend coverage and an average of one night of call per week.) In this role you will: Round on postop patients First assist on all cardiac cases See inpatient consults Call/round is 1:3 weekends Manage ICU patients Opportunity exists to also participate in (Provide) office consults with (one day per week with a designated) surgeons EVH and chest closure in the OR Thoracentesis and chest tube insertion and care Qualifications Join a clinical team at its best!
