May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Compensation Details:

$108,000 Under supervision, provides healthcare service typically performed by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed physician. Conducts complete physicals, provides treatment and counsels clients. May, in some cases, prescribe medication.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license to practice as an APRN in the specialty area OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in physician assistant studies AND Two years of general medicine experience OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND completion of physician assistant training program of at least Twenty-Four months certified by the Accreditation Review Commission of the

PA, ARC-PA AND

certification to practice as a Physician Assistant by the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners (or eligibility to obtain within one year).
