Job Description

Caldwell Physical Therapy is hiring for the position of Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. This is a full time position Monday through Friday. Caldwell Physical Therapy is a privately owned and independently operated out patient clinic in Caldwell, Idaho. We specialize in treating orthopedic injuries. Our niche is treating injured workers and helping them rehabilitate back to gainful employment. The Caldwell area has a lot of agriculture and manufacturing jobs that tend produce work related injuries. There is a lot of satisfaction in helping injured workers return to work. CPT opened in 2004 and has experienced steady growth since and is the oldest privately owned and independently operated PT clinic in Caldwell. We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant that shares our values of professionalism, compassion and exceeding expectations of our clients.
Requirements:
must have a valid PTA license to practice in Idaho must be able to pass a back ground check Previous experience in outpatient orthopedics is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of a Physical Therapist Assistant include implementing the physical therapy plan of care, documentation, writing progress reports, progressing patients toward established goals, ensuring patient safety during treatment, patient education regarding their condition and home exercise programs and supervising PT techs. The number of patients treated by our PTAs is about 10-12 per day with tech help.
