CT Surgery Physician Assistant | Southern Illinois Healthcare

Position Overview SIH Cardiothoracic Surgery is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team of 4 physicians and 1 PA in Carbondale, Illinois.

Role Specifics:

Serve as First Assist on CT cases Vein harvesting (EVH) Round on consults and post-operative patients Clinic follow up with post-operative patient, suture/staple removal, wound care, and patient education Assist on emergent cases as needed

Qualifications:

Completion of a physician assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). Current PA-C designation Current IL DEA and Controlled Substance license Current
