We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our growing, high-volume Vascular Surgery team in the south suburbs of Chicago. In this role, you will work collaboratively with board-certified Vascular Surgeons to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex vascular diseases. This position offers a dynamic split between surgical first-assisting, inpatient hospital rounding and outpatient clinical management.

Key Responsibilities Surgical First Assisting:

Assist in open, endovascular and hybrid surgical procedures.

Inpatient Care:

Perform daily hospital rounds, manage post-operative care, write orders and coordinate discharges.

Outpatient Clinic:

Evaluate new patients, conduct post-op folllow ups and manage chronic conditions like PAD, aneurysms and venous insufficiency.

Consults & Triaging:

Respond to emergency department and inpatient consult requests.

Procedures:

Perform minor outpatient procedures under appropriate supervision.

Qualifications & Requirements Education:

Graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited Physician Assistant program or graduate APRN.

Licensure:

Current or eligible for Illinois Physician Assistant licensure.

Certification:

NCCPA certification or eligibility required; BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 - 2 years of surgical or vascular experience is highly preferred, but highly motivated new graduates will be considered.

$95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
