Overview OSF HealthCare Saint Katharine Medical Center is seeking a motivated and collaborative Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Surgery team in Dixon, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons in a well-established practice while providing high-quality, patient-centered musculoskeletal care. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage orthopedic patients in outpatient and inpatient settings Assist orthopedic surgeons in the operating room Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments Develop treatment plans and provide patient education Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies Perform procedures within scope of practice Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams Qualifications Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program NCCPA certification required Illinois PA license (or eligibility to obtain) Orthopedic experience preferred, but new graduates with orthopedic rotations will be considered Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
