What they do
A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description
- 154-Bed Acute Care Facility
- Block Scheduling
- 2 Physician rounders scheduled 7a-7a;
- 1 Provider in-house at night 7p-7a
- 3 NPs Scheduled daily 6:45a
- 4:45p (10 hours)
- 1 NP Mid-shift from 12p-12a
- Mid-shift NP will do admissions and ICU procedures (intubation & central lines)
- Training will be offered to the right candidates
