A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

POSITION SUMMARY
According to professional standards of care, performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.JOB SPECIFICS
Works directly with the cardiac fellows 4PM - Midnight, Monday-Friday Call Requirements, Outpatient, Call is covered by 4-5 providers QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
