Job Description Overview
JOB SPECIFICS
Evaluation and management of acute work-related injuries and illnesses. Serves as Medical Examiner for preplacement and DOT physical examinations. Collaborates with employers, employees, and other healthcare professionals to promote healthy work environments and prevent occupational illnesses and injuries.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in occ health, primary care, urgent care or a related field is preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
