Orthopedic Physician Assistant

An established orthopedic practice in the Tinley Park area is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. This APP will play an integral role in patient care by conducting comprehensive evaluations, assisting with procedures, and collaborating with physicians and staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a background in orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery or pain management. New graduates with applicable rotations will be considered. The practice offers services for spine/back disorders, fracture care, sports injuries, foot/ankle, hip/knee and shoulder disorders.

Position details:

Schedule:

full-time, 40 hour work week. Perform detailed patient histories and physical exams to establish diagnoses and treatment plans. Review and interpret diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI) to support clinical decision-making. Educate and counsel patients on pain management strategies and procedural expectations. Assist with and perform office-based procedures. Assist in the operating room as needed. One weekend of hospital rounding per month. Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nursing, and ancillary staff to support seamless team-based care.
