Responsibilities:

Perform patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinationsAssist with admissions, transfers, and dischargesCoordinate care for chemotherapy and biotherapy patientsManage treatment-related symptoms and supportive care needsObtain informed consentsOrder chemotherapy under established protocols and supervisionCoordinate specialty referrals and multidisciplinary careRespond to patient and family questions and concernsMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationParticipate in ongoing oncology education and professional development

Qualifications:

For Physician Assistants:

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant programNCCPA certification or eligibilityMassachusetts PA licensure

For Nurse Practitioners:

Graduate of accredited Master's or Advanced Practice Nursing programMassachusetts APRN licensureCurrent board certification as

Nurse PractitionerAdditional Requirements:

Current Massachusetts license by hire dateBLS certification requiredACLS certification encouragedDEA registration as applicableMassachusetts Controlled Substance Registration as applicableChemotherapy and Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification preferredMinimum two years of oncology experience preferredPrior direct patient care experience strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $133,120
