Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Apply Physician Assistant Bethesda, MD Apply Description Aligned Orthopedics, in partnership with OrthoBethesda & Shady Grove Orthopedics, is hiring an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team. This role is primarily OR-based, with responsibilities across our hospital locations in Bethesda, Rockville, and nearby surgery centers. Key Responsibilities Assist surgeons in the operating room and clinic Participate in inpatient rounding at affiliated hospitals Function as an independent provider with strong clinical judgment Qualifications Prior orthopedic PA experience strongly preferred Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable practicing independently Graduate of an accredited PA program Successful completion of the national certification exam Licensed or license-eligible in Maryland and Virginia Why Join Us We offer a supportive, collaborative environment focused on professional growth and long-term retention.
