We are looking for a Physician Assistant to join our Neuro Surgery team at our MedStar Clinton location across from MedStar Southern MD Hospital Center. In this position you would work with Neurosurgery Physician(s), aiding with patient evaluation, including completion of patient histories, physical examinations, and consultations. Will assist with neurosurgical procedures under the supervision of the primary Neurosurgeon. Participate in the coordination of discharge planning with all members of the health care team and acts as a resource for case management. Job Requirements Completion and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program Neurosurgical and/or ICU experience required CPR certification Eligible for District of Columbia and Maryland licensure Neurosurgical experience preferred Be a part of a nationally-recognized health system and the largest provider of health services in the Baltimore/Washington region.
