Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced ED, performing evaluations, diagnostics, and urgent interventions for diverse patient populations. Responsibilities include stabilizing critical patients, coordinating with specialists, documenting encounters, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols. Responsibilities Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages in a hospital ED setting Perform patient evaluations, diagnostics, and urgent interventions Stabilize and manage critically ill and injured patients Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and hospital staff for coordinated care Document encounters accurately in the EMR and ensure chart completeness Adhere to hospital protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Participate in shift-based coverage with flexible locums scheduling Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnosis and treatment Work with Alumni Healthcare Staffing team for scheduling and assignment logistics Required Skills Emergency medicine clinical skills Advanced life support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Trauma management (ATLS) Airway management and intubation Point-of-care ultrasound Interpreting EKGs and imaging Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Rapid clinical decision-making Team-based care and collaboration
