Serve as surgical first assist in the OR—harvesting radial arteries and saphenous veins with precision and skillDeliver expert inpatient consultations for cardiac surgery evaluations and pre-operative workupsCollaborate with top-tier cardiovascular surgeons to provide innovative, exceptional patient careHelp drive the growth of a rapidly expanding regional cardiovascular surgery hubWork at the top of your license and make a real difference in patients' livesQualifications Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programCurrent Michigan licensure as an NP or PANational certification (ANCC or AANP for NP; NCCPA for PA)DEA registration and Michigan Controlled Substance License (PA only)Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationRegistered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certificationMinimum 2 years of OR first assist experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery

•Preferred Qualifications

•Demonstrated experience with vein harvesting and radial artery procurementPrior experience working with cardiothoracic surgical teams
