VHS What You'll Do:
Assess and treat patients in the emergency department, including triage and stabilization Perform emergency procedures as needed in a high-pressure setting Provide rapid clinical decision-making for adult and pediatric patients Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in EMR Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care Cover triage roles as volume demands, working alongside board-certified emergency physicians Participate in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED environment with the support of ancillary services such as Radiology, Laboratory, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, and more
What You Need:
Required:
Satisfactory completion of PA/NP program Current Michigan license to practice as PA/Nurse Practitioner Michigan controlled substance license and DEA registration AHA-approved BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications Emergency department experience with both adults and children
Preferred:
