Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our clinical team. In this role, you will diagnose and treat acute medical conditions, perform minor procedures, and deliver exceptional care to patients of all ages. This position offers a consistent schedule of 12-hour shifts, allowing for excellent blocks of days off and great work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and lab work. Perform minor clinical procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care. Prescribe medications and establish comprehensive treatment plans. Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and nursing staff. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current Michigan Physician Assistant license and NCCPA certification. Valid DEA license and
BLS/ACLS
certification. Previous experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred. Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
