As a Full Time Physician Assistant at a privately managed Health Center you'll provide accessible, comprehensive primary care services to Hormel Foods employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Austin, MN . Schedule 36 Hours Per Week Rotating Bi-Weekly Schedule Week 1: Mon, Tue, Wed Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri Our Services Include Annual physicals and preventive care Acute and same-day visits Laboratory services and point-of-care testing (POCT) Provider dispensing Physical Therapy Care Management and health education Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team What You'll Do Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements. Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management. Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care. Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions. Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care. Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies. Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed. Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records. Performs other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice. Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable). Current NCCPA national certification required. Degree from ARC-PA accredited program. Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable). State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration). Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services. At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting. Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $145,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually.
