• Provide comprehensive inpatient management for cardiac surgery patients in the stepdown unit
• Perform essential APP procedures, including removal of chest tubes and pacing wires
• Collaborate with the cardiac surgical team and hospitalist team for patient care
• Conduct daily assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and discharge planning Qualifications
• Must be a board-certified NP/PA with a minimum of 2 years' experience
• Proficient in comprehensive management of cardiac surgery patients, including CABG, valve repair and replacement, and aortic surgery
• Hold valid state licenses with BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in Trauma Level I is required Working Hours
• Scheduled 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
