A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description

Mountain View Dermatology and Surgery Center is looking for a compassionate and intelligent physician assistant who is motivated to learn and work in a medical and surgical dermatology practice. The practice is in a underserved area of rural western Montana. Nestled in the Bitterroot mountains with breathtaking views and endless world class hiking, skiing, fishing, hunting, horseback trails/riding, etc. Stevensville is the heart of the bitterroot with fabulous dining, community/family events, and friendly people. Just a short drive from the second largest city in Montana with the amenities of a university town and shopping to match. The team is led by a double board certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon with many years of experience in private practice where he performed well over 10k Mohs surgeries and treated all medical dermatology issues in adults and children. He also started a dermatology program at a midwest university and trained hundreds of residents, medical students, and physician assistants. He is passionate about delivering excellent care and being a positive person to the people around him. He is willing to train the right candidate to become an excellent dermatology PA. Additionally, an incentive bonus will be offered when the candidate is well trained and productive. In addition to a base salary, incentive bonus, 401K with employer matching, we offer a pension plan.
