Job Description

Alamance Regional Medical Center (ARMC)
Location:
Burlington, NC. 180 bed community hospital. ~55,000-60,000 annual patient visits in the ED. Proximity to the Research Triangle is a plus. Hospital has OB/GYN and a full slate of specialists.
Staff:
15 physicians and ~8
APPs Role:
Everything from triage to the higher acuity settings. There are PA students from Elon rotating so opportunities for precepting PA students.
Training:
Experienced candidates needed. Ideally it would be ED experience but Urgent Care or other mid to high acuity setting work experience may be considered.
Licensure:
Must have NC PA license (NPs must be ENP boarded or eligible), BLS, ACLS before starting. Must obtain ATLS after starting eventually.
Schedule:
9 hr shifts. Staggered throughout the day. No nights currently. Shifts are 7a-4p, 11a-8p, and 3p-midnight. Shifts can be clumped together generally. 13-17 shifts per month in general. Minimum 130 hrs per month (30 hrs per week)

Annual CME allowance of $3,000.00 and 50 hours. Health insurance is effective on day 1. Retirement match starts at 90 days, and the company will match up to 6%. Potential for FSLF as a 501c(3) which - while is not cash in hand - is a significant value-add for most with loan burden. Malpractice insurance is provided with tail coverage.
