Job Description

Physician Assistant (PA) - Gastroenterology Center for Digestive Diseases is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing gastroenterology practice. We are looking for someone who is patient-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy outpatient clinical environment. The Physician Assistant will work closely with our gastroenterologists to evaluate and manage patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. GI experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates with strong clinical skills and an interest in gastroenterology. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient gastroenterology setting Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans Manage common gastrointestinal conditions and follow-up care Review laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic results Order appropriate testing and medications within scope of practice Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and procedures Coordinate care and communicate closely with physicians and clinical staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current or eligible North Carolina PA license Current NCCPA certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and clinical decision-making skills Gastroenterology or outpatient experience preferred, but not required What We Offer Center for Digestive Diseases offers a competitive compensation and benefits package based on experience and qualifications.
