Float APP Position (Garner 70, Cary Cornerstone & 10-10) FastMed - 3.0 Durham, NC Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Qualifications Advanced practice provider Full Job Description Position Summary FastMed Urgent Care seeks an experienced Float Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) capable of working (full-time/part-time) at assigned clinic locations providing direct patient care. The provider will be expected to travel to assigned clinic locations as needed to support clinic operations. You'll be using your clinical skills and judgement to deliver fantastic care and create unforgettable patient experience. Assigned FastMed Clinic Locations Fuquay Garner 70 and Cleveland Creedmoor Cary Cornerstone and 10-10 Clayton Qualified Candidates Willingness to travel and work at assigned clinic locations; comfortable seeing patients of all ages. Provide acute medical care to all patients; supports standards of care and complies with established standards, practices, and regulatory requirements. Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray and laboratory tests. Capable of working independently and with a supportive team; capable of interacting with clinic managers and staff in a collegial and professional manner. Ensures accurate maintenance of patient's medical records and confidentiality. Participate in assigned meetings and training as directed. Experienced using epic EMR Capable of performing other related duties as assigned. Experience & Skills Licensed (North Carolina) NP or PA from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program Must have at least 2 years of experience; urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred. BLS Certified Possess active and unrestricted DEA license to practice in North Carolina. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
