- Durham, NC We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Duke Department of Radiology Neuroradiology team at the Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC to work in partnership with our physicians and team of advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional and innovative patient care by collecting and documenting data, conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ordering and scheduling laboratory studies and professional consultations, and providing direct patient care services.
Job Eligibility Requirements Education Nurse Practitioners:
Work requires completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, with a Master's degree in Nursing.Physician Assistants:
Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. A Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred. Certification BLS required.License Nurse Practitioners:
Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. National certification as a NP required.Physician Assistants:
Must be licensed in the state of NC, and be certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. DEA license required. Relevant Education and/or Experience Prefer 1+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in orthopedics, spine or other related services. Or, an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Proven focus on delivering patient-centered care and collaborating with team members at all levels to provide a seamless patient experience.
