The Physician Assistant provides medical services topatients of all ages under the direction or in collaboration with a physicianas required by law. The PhysicianAssistant collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to collect and documentpatient data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures,performs physician examinations, assessments and screenings, prescribesmedications and treatments, orders and schedules laboratory studies to providesevidence based care and comprehensive services, including direct patient care services. The Physician Assistant may work in allspecialty and primary care areas, diagnosing and treating common illnesses andperforming minor procedures.

• Minimum Requirements:
• + Bachelor's Degree in Health Science field preferred, may berequired by state regulations or contract specifications + Physician's Assistant Certificate of Registration or Licensefrom the state Medical Board + Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the NationalCommission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred; may be requiredby state regulations or contract specifications + One (1) year of experience as a Physician's Assistantstrongly preferred + BLS certified required + ACLS/PALS per state or contract requirements.

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
