7p Friday 7a Monday Minimum one weekend of call per month Weekend responsibilities include rounding on step-down units with surgeons for a half day or less, then carrying the pager No block schedules Practice Setting Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Heart Failure Surgical setting Adult patient population

Robotic Thoracic/Chest Cases:

4 6 per week Several open and TAVR valve cases performed each week Support Staff Dedicated office PA Two RNs Strong Advanced Heart Failure team Works closely with surgeons and the Advanced Heart Failure team Procedures & Responsibilities Endoscopic vein harvesting First assist CABG cases Robotic thoracic/chest cases Open valve cases TAVR valve cases Occasional LVAD placements Occasional Impella placements Inpatient and step-down unit rounding OR and floor call coverage Requirements Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery required Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies required Active North Carolina license required DEA required

Minimum Experience:
